Remix Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel small molecule therapies designed to reprogram RNA processing and address disease drivers at their origin. Remix's REMaster™ technology platform leverages data science, biomolecular sciences and chemistry approaches to identify orally administered compounds that modulate gene expression. Remix's therapeutic approach led to the discovery of REM-422, an investigational small molecule designed to modulate RNA processing in oncology, currently being evaluated in two clinical programs, 1) the ARIA clinical study, a Phase 1/2 clinical study in adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC), and 2) a Phase 1 clinical study in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (HR-MDS).
In June 2026, Remix announced an agreement to merge with Passage Bio, with the combined company expected to operate as Remix Therapeutics and trade on Nasdaq. The announced transaction included a concurrent $100 million private placement intended to support continued development of its pipeline. Remix remains focused on translating its RNA-processing science into meaningful treatment options for patients with significant unmet medical needs.
Position Summary:
The Director will translate commercial strategy into an actionable enterprise launch plan, align stakeholders around priorities, and drive accountability for delivery. Working closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Market Access, Technical Operations, Quality, Finance, Legal and Compliance, IT, and Human Resources, this individual will connect workstreams, surface risks, and help leadership make timely decisions.
This is a hands-on role for a leader who can build practical processes, influence without direct authority, and move comfortably between strategic planning and detailed execution. The Director owns integrated launch management, working with functional leaders who remain accountable for their strategies and deliverables.
This is an opportunity to help lead the integrated planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of the potential launch of REM-422, subject to regulatory approval.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain the integrated launch roadmap, defining workstreams, deliverables, accountable owners, milestones, interdependencies, and the critical path from prelaunch preparation through early commercialization.
• Partner with leaders to translate launch objectives into functional plans, readiness criteria, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes. Reconcile competing priorities and identify gaps between functional plans.
• Establish fit-for-purpose launch governance, cross-functional launch team, workstream meetings, decision rights, and escalation pathways.
• Lead focused meetings with clear agendas, decisions, owners, and follow-up actions. Maintain a decision log and ensure unresolved issues reach the appropriate decision-maker.
• Provide concise leadership updates on readiness, critical dependencies, and decisions required. Present options and tradeoffs with a recommended path forward.
• Build productive relationships across internal teams and external partners. Clarify expectations, resolve handoff gaps, and address capacity constraints before they affect launch readiness.
• Implement practical project management standards, templates, dashboards, and a shared source of launch information. Keep processes proportional to the size and needs of the organization.
• Maintain an integrated register of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. Assign owners, evaluate potential impact, and track mitigation plans, contingency actions, and escalation triggers.
• Assist in readiness reviews and launch simulations to test critical workflows, such as the path from prescription through coverage, dispensing, and patient support. Confirm evidence of readiness and close identified gaps.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10 or more years of relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals, including substantial responsibility for commercial project management, launch readiness, or cross-functional program leadership.
• Launch expertise: Understand the sequence and dependencies of commercialization, including regulatory milestones, medical readiness, market access, patient services, field execution, distribution, supply, and commercial systems.
• Project management discipline: Apply integrated scheduling, critical path analysis, capacity planning, change control, scenario planning, and risk management. Use tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or comparable platforms to support execution.
• Influence and facilitation: Align senior stakeholders and functional experts without direct authority, resolve disagreements constructively, and secure clear commitments across competing priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership of at least one product launch from prelaunch planning through commercialization, with direct responsibility for an integrated launch plan and governance. Experience with a company’s first commercial launch is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a small or emerging biotechnology company, including building capabilities with lean teams, limited infrastructure, and external service providers. Experience with oncology and/or rare disease therapies is preferred.
