JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Field Marketing Operations Support (Embedded)
On board experiential marketing
On Board Experiential (OBE) is an award-winning, full-service, experience-led agency that creates meaningful brand experiences worldwide. Recognized by Event Marketer as one of the best places to work in events, our clients include Nike, Meta, JPMorgan Chase, Sephora, Starbucks, and Converse, to name a few. We work out of our homes and physical offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, NYC, and London, or wherever our adventures take us! OBE is also a founding member of The ADD Collective, extending our reach and resources while staying true to our core capabilities.
The most important part of our business is our people. They are hardworking, imaginative and make magic happen on the regular. But behind each majestic activation is a human deserving of a healthy work-life balance. That's why we believe in recovery days, happy hours, friendly but competitive fitness challenges, and OBE offsites.
We show up for each other — in open conversations that heal, inspire, and bring us closer. We want to hear about your lived experiences and unique perspectives. Being unapologetically yourself isn't just welcome here. It's part of the job.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
OBE is seeking a Field Marketing Operations Support professional to join our team and be embedded within a client's Enterprise Field Marketing organization, supporting field programs across the Americas region. This role turns approved field marketing plans into coordinated execution — owning program management and marketing operations across the full event lifecycle — while working directly inside the client's systems, meetings, and planning rhythms as a trusted extension of their team.
While the role is operationally focused, the ideal candidate brings enough command of enterprise sales cycles, account-based marketing, and field marketing strategy to be more than an executor: someone who understands the business behind the events, sits close to sales, and proactively flags risks and recommends changes rather than simply reporting status.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Program Coordination & Project Management
• Build and maintain workback plans, trackers, approvals, and handoffs across the event lifecycle.
• Provide status updates and proactively escalate risks to the client's field marketing leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to keep programs on track from planning through execution.
Registration & Attendee Operations
• Own registration setup, RSVP management, and attendee communications for events.
• Track attendee data and ensure accuracy across systems throughout the event lifecycle.
Seller Enablement
• Build and maintain seller toolkits, outreach cadences, and audience segmentation for sales teams.
• Coordinate send-on-behalf communications and manage review and approval cycles with sellers.
Executive Readiness
• Coordinate briefing documents, executive profiles, and content inputs for executive participation in events.
• Manage review cycles and final deployment of executive-facing materials.
Campaign & Lead Operations
• Set up SFDC campaigns, manage lead uploads, and coordinate with Marketing Operations on data quality.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate campaign and lead tracking.
Reporting & Follow-Up
• Build and maintain post-event dashboards and reporting.
• Track follow-up actions and maintain visibility into outstanding items for the client's team.
Strategic Fluency & Account Support
• Understand the client's product, sales, and GTM motions well enough to align field programs to broader marketing and revenue goals.
• Sit in on sales calls and leadership meetings as needed to understand full account context, not just the events being supported.
• Bring a working knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) principles to support the build-out and execution of long-term, account-specific marketing plans, typically spanning 12 to 18 month enterprise sales cycles.
• Analyze what is and isn't working from an event and program perspective, and proactively recommend adjustments.
summary of position
Education / Experience
• 3 to 6 years of experience in field marketing, marketing operations, event marketing, or program management, ideally supporting B2B or Enterprise organizations.
• Experience working within enterprise marketing and sales tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC, marketing automation platforms, event registration tools).
• Exposure to enterprise sales cycles and account-based marketing (ABM) strongly preferred.
• BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong program and project management skills; able to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and approvals simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) campaign setup, lead management, and marketing operations workflows.
• Working understanding of account-based marketing (ABM) strategy and execution.
• Comfort operating inside a client's systems, tools, and meeting cadences as an embedded team member.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust with sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset; able to synthesize event and program performance data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• High attention to detail and follow-through, particularly around registration, data accuracy, and reporting.
Other Qualities and Skills
• Comfortable embedding within a client's team and adapting to their systems, culture, and cadence.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented; anticipates risks and brings recommendations, not just status updates.
• High energy and flexibility to support event timelines, which may include non-traditional hours.
• Natural curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset, both professionally and personally.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support in-person events (approximately 25% to 30% of the time).
• Comfortable working in ambiguity within a fast-paced enterprise sales and marketing environment.
